Conversion question

It's Mandinga. I posted a ship not to long ago asking if someone could throw it into the game. I finished my textures and stuff so please let me know what format you would need the model in. Please let me know if it would be possible to make the weapons internal, if not I'll remover the turrets I modeled

we need it in .CMP (the Ship) and .MAT (the colors of the ship)

where the fun in internal guns :?
persoanly i hate limitations

but i can help ya with ur ship

He probably means not guns like the Freelancer ones, but built-in guns somehow. Guns that cannot be shot off and cannot turn, and effectively are part of the ship.

SK-GWM,

Do you know how to make the .cmp? I don't know how or how to add hard points and all. I see you know how to do all of the coding . Well unless you an do it, I'll try to come up with a .cmp and .mat

can I use the .mat from a .obj file?

Don't worry about internal weapons, Just use the default ones.

I can provide a .obj file right now so please let me know and thanks

u can creat the MAT and CMP throw "Milkshape" program wich r free
u need to CMP and MAT extractor in Lancers site (do a search) but they work as much as i know only to Milkshape ,so u need to make ur modul Milkshape ok and then it easy

if u can make the CMP and MAT i can help u put the ship in the game

Mandinga,

Why not post a link so we can see the ship, then you may get some more help. Now you may already have done that.

Internal weapons are no problem to make and they can be an effective way of making a model look and work well.

Hmmm... I looked and found your previous post.... please dont double post, it is better to simply bump the original thread ...

Harrier, I didn't mean to double post, but it seems my post was deleted, or I'm a retard when browsing :p.

I'm in the process of making the a .cmp with it's proper .mat file should be done by tommorow.
