new costumes

any tutorials on making new costumes for the characters?
what modeling software to use?
what files to alter?
yes, I am a no0b at this.
seriously needing stupid step by stupid step tutorials. very no0b.

I know your hope must have gone up when you saw there was a reply to this, but unfortunately I can't give much assistance. New costumes are things I would also like to be able to edit well.

HOWEVER: I can tell you that you will probably need the utf editor. Click open file and go to \DATA\CHARACTERS\BODIES select one of these (backup your files!) I think you need to select Texture Library, and go through *body*1, 2 and 3. Unfortunately you'll need to extract most, if not all of the MIP files. Save them as .tga format. Open them in photoshop and edit them to what you want, then save them and import them back with the utf editor.
You'll need photoshop, and the .tga plugin available from TLR I think. It's a long process, but if it's done well it'll be worth it. BUT don't take my word for it, ask someone else's opinion first
