New jumpgate model

Ok: here's the story. One of the members of my team created a new jumpgate model: two beacons Now: I've put the file in DATA/SOLAR/DOCKABLE under JumpGateI (capital i) BUT I only want it to be on SOME jumpgates. How can I find out the archtype for the new gate model?

I assume you have all the hardpoints in places (HpDockMountA, HpFX7,...)

but then again, the 2 beacons are just 2 small lights, and you just want to attach to the regular jumpgate, right ?
that will be a different story
that's placing an object on another object in space.
that will be easy too.
just find the coordinate of the jumpgate, and then place 2 beacons on top of the jumpgates
the coordinates are in the file data\universe\systems\li01\li01.ini (for example)

Nope: the beacons are on their own. Well I'm kinda hoping he's put the docking hardpoints on. If he hasn't what do I do?

I think the docking hp is HP_Dock, that is unless thats only stations?

I want a pet flying monkey. Should I check Ebay or the Black Market?

Tell you what, have a look at a jumpgate model in milkshape - or just use the UTF editor - and check what hardpoints there are in there. Ignore any that are lights - just look for dock - and positions etc - as that will determine stuff like the approach or something.

OKAY! I decided to add my beacons to a jumphole. One problem though! The jumphole model won't opem!
