Hi, ok I check the LODranges and it set to 0,9999 I have checked the mat file but I'm not sure about this I'm really new to texturing I followed you tutorial and my looks like yours did, but I'll send it to you just to make sure. When you say you didn't texture the ship in Milkshape do you mean did I apply the textures to the ship in Milkshape? If so then I should be ok there. What is the right size and color for the TGA?

I'll send you the file right away.

I think I see the problem. Your texture file is not square. Make it 256x256 (there will be empty gaps on the sides) and then retexture the ship and try again.

I made the changes and retexture the ship in Milkshape. However the ship didn't show up.

Caught something. It's not MIPO, its MIP0 (zero).

I've tried with no success to put this model in game there are two other things I can think of that may be causing me some problems. How do I flip images upside down in PhotoShop 6? Which way do I face the ship in milkshape? I think I may have done one of these two things wrong.

I got it. I worked for 4 days on this problem and finally found the problem. It was a stupid INI file error. I feel so stupid right now. Oh well thanks so much for the help.

It's small things like that that make you a better modder.
To flip an image upside down, go to edit:transform:flip vertical

Thank you for the help and I wanted to make sure that I had flipped the image right. Once again this is a really excellent tutorial. Although I do have one question then I was adding the ship to the game at first it would crash every time I tried to see the ship. The only way I was able to fix this was to put the mat file one folder up from the cmp file. Is this the correct way of doing this?

About your error: I've never seen it before. I usually put my mat in the folder with the cmp and it works so long as I define the path correctly in shiparch. I can't think of anything off the top of my head that would cause your problem, sorry...

No problem like I said I got it fixed but I had to move the mat file I just thought I would tell you just in case you run across someone who's have a problem with it crash you may think of that. Not sure why it was happen all I know is I moved the file and it started to work.
