I ran a few cargo runs...
Got enough money to get a Galaxy...
Fought my way to Rogue's good side...
Docked with Buffalo...
Went to the Missouri...
Went to Texas, California, Colorodo...
Just can't duplicate it.

Next time, write down what the error message is.
IE:
"Cannot find ----- in file ----.ini"
That would help alot in narrowing it down.

It currently points straight up, and is disabled in the mod's.
Oh, and the missiles don't fire on the 2 Talons.

Ya I've installed fresh and then installed just 2.4 - then just the saved game folder with Mission 11 on it. The first few objectives go fine then when Walker is supposed to guide you through to the Alaska jump gate to go rescue the president he stops about 15k short of the gate. (Also the sun is targeted as a waypoint for the mission). I've left him there and gone to the gate and killed all the fighters but the game just keeps telling me i need to kill the ships, which of course there are none left . Thanks and this mod kicks major butt! Will love to finish the game when you get time to fix this part. Keep up the awesome work!!!
** On a side note I did a search for "walker" on these 2 forums for 2.3 and 2.4 and there's two others who have mentioned this same thing happening. ** Maybe they have more useful info then I about what's goin wrong.

I just want to give you a few thoughts concerning how to equip the ships.
In general you have used the data from the Priv and WC manuals. Please note that not all ships are using these specs in privateer.
e.g. Stiletto is using Meson Blaster instead of mass drivers in the game or the turret of the centurion is equipped with ion impulse cannons and not with mass drivers.
The Talon comes with 2 Mass driver and 1 Particle cannon or with 2 Laser and 1 mass driver (Troy and all other systems in this Quadrant)
The Orion is using Plasma Guns, what makes sense because it has only two forward firing guns. It is called gunship and in my eyes a gunship with 2 mass drivers and a laser turret is not really a gunship, but a death warranty for a mercenary. (and please, please, please give the Orion at least 10 000 armour. In general, if I'm using your mod I change her armour to 14000 and the cargo hold to 75=upgraded like in privateer.)
Another thing is the proton torpedo launcher of privateer, which would be quite challencing to put out capital ships (fast, unguided, perhaps 5 times the damage of an Spiculum IR missile). It shouldn't be so easy to kill all these glorious battleships. The Confed Lancer Torpedo should only be used by bombers and not by fighters. (possible exception Thunderbolt and Vindicator, but don't give them 10 but 1-3 Torps)
One thing what was really privateer style playing was to wait till the fighters have used all of their quite limited missile ammo and after surviving it going in for the kill. (e.g. 2 HS for the Talon) Just think about reducing the payload for the light fighter crafts. (Only my opinion)
Sorry for another inconvenience but I have another request. Is it possible to publish some Mod's to e.g. single privateer ships in the standard freelancer universe ? (Your Centurion looks really really grat and deadly. The Orion with a lot of armour and perhaps 2 shield bays but limited number guns will be a lot of fun to fly too ... etc.)

CTD when docking norfolk>texas tradlane with my tarsus. Same thing when jumping to texas. If its ships that are causing it then they might be pirates.

OK! Several things:
BoH Havoc: I can draw up some textures for the models you are working on. I need screenshots of your models, and screenshots of the originals.
Tolwyn: I have Perry Naval Base textures for Bob, but I need access to the FTP server because his Email box is screwy. I will have to also download something like FTP commander as I dont have one here (new laptop).

war, to limit the ammunition you could make ammo take up cargo space, therefore adding to the reality. if your carrying 10 torpedoes you cant carry any significant amount of cargo. also, why the change back to 1 space per unit of cargo? only a few things needed tweaking and you could always just reset those to one while you worked on fixing them. also, as to the talon not firing missiles im not sure it has to do with the launchers pointing the wrong way, but im not sure, gonna check it out when i get home today
warzog, the drunkenness of the Orion pilot may have to do with the fact that aside from the Pakhtan it is the most unmaneuverable ship available. you cant turn in less than thirty seconds. try making it a bit more maneuverable and see what happens in the intro. Who knows, a better ship could make him a little more sober

And the same reason that salvage has been lowered, too!
I'll try adjusting the Orion's manueverability, and see if that helps.
