Player Levels

It seems to me that once you get to a certain point in the single player game you cannot advance in player level until you do the missions. Is this only if you play for the good guys or does this still happen if you fly for pirates and other bad guys?

Afraid you were right first time, every alternate level is linked to the main mission (up to my current level 13 at least) open-ended and free-form this game is not - you'll soon feel you're being lead around by the nose, the combat is great fun but the other aspects are pretty poor to put it mildly.

You can't go your own way until after level 18.

Or you can just ignore Juni and keep playing, or visit her and decline the mission, you always can go back and continue later.

If you decline, your options will be very limited on how far you can travel.

I know, I was just letting him know in case it's money he's worrying about. You can go ahead and make all the cash you want now before you continue on the SP missions. I wish I had made more money before I continued, because I needed it in the end and didn't have any.

Thanks guys. I'll probably start a multi for myself once i've finished being good in single player. Just as an after thought what happens if you try to kill King in the first mission? If you can actually kill him then that might be the way to be bad in single player.

Should you kill King, a mission-critical friendly, you will have to restart the mission.

You can't get around the storyline that way.
