UK release

Does anyone know if a US version of FL will work on a UK machine, as I have absolutely no intention of waiting another goddamn month.....

The US version will run fine on UK machines. You'll find US copies on sale at ebay.co.uk.

Thanks. Ordered it from www.sps-systems.co.uk - OK so it might be over £40 but it will be worth it right? RIGHT??? And whats with all the criticism I've read about the graphics being crap? I've played the demo and thought it was pretty good...

I live in the UK and I am currently playing the US version of
Freelancer, though haven't got very far in a week of play,
still on level 3!. I ordered it from www.strategic-plus.co.uk
£39.99 plus £1.50 p&p.

A US version should work fine, it only matters if this were a console game (console = Gamecube, Xbox, etc)

US version runs fine, I'm in the UK, have finished the game, worked ok. Got it the day it came out in the US (EDonkey anyone?)

Still buying it when it comes out cause the multiplayer is so much fun.

I ordered it about 3 weeks ago from Chips'n'bits. Anyday now, hopefully before Friday.

I know what I'm doing this weekend.

Hi

I just bought it on ebay for 32 squid, no reply from vendor as to when it'll arrive but as he's supposed to have 70 in stock (down from ~90 on monday!) in London, hopefully it'll be here by the weekend.

Fingers crossed!

will let you know when it arrives if you're worried about using ebay.
