In the Navy???

Can anyone tell me why 'Liberty Navy' is blinking in my reputation list? I've been playing multiplayer for the past couple of weeks with the marketting beta and I haven't been able to figure out why no matter what my reputation seems to be the Liberty Navy, their reputation marker appears to be flashing or selected. I assume this also has something to do with the fact that you see "Navy - Name" (where name is a player name) over a lot of people's ships. If that's the case, could I be "Rogue - Name"?

In MP I believe you are tentatively aligned with whomever owns the base where you start out.

If you try out the "Pirate Mod" you will be aligned with the Xenos instead.

That's about all I know, or think I know.

Know if it is possible to change the flashing name to another faction? I don't think it's possible, but it'd be a nice surprise if it is.

I've seen people with Outcasts, Interspace, and even Rogues before their name so it's clearly possible, but no one actually seems to know *how* they got it to change.

I heard somebody say last night that it is releated to whom you have the highest reputation with, but that doesn't seem to be true.

I started attacking Navy ships just to lower my rep with them and it is still flashing and people still see "navy" before my name.

I wish the people from DA would stop LURKING here and start answering a couple of the questions asked!

You might need to do a bunch of missions for that company/faction first, perhaps killing their enemies isn't enough.

I did 40 consecutive missions for the Rogues. Still no flashing Liberty Rogues title in my reputation list nor a "Rogue" tag in my character name =(
