Try using the space bar a bit for mouse controlled flight. I had that exact same issue until I leanred about the advantages of using the space bar often.

Try getting yourself a mousepad with one of those Gel wrist supports, they do wonders. Trust me, I've been using one for quite some time now and my hand never gets sore.

It would help if you do some other things besides play Freelancer all the time. A variation of exercises with the wrists are important to prevent "carpal tunnel" troubles. Computer gaming is my second most favorite hobby. Golf is my most important hobby. I never have a problem with my wrists because I exercise them often doing other things.

Also...I do not sit down and do marathon sessions of Freelancer...2 or 3 hours at a time and then I take a break and do other things for a while besides playing on the computer.

Can't say that I've had the 'mouse-wrist' problem yet... but I have had my mouse batteries go dead on me after a long session in front of FL.
