Sooo when do you guys think an expansion will be out?

Depends on the support for the game and how well it does at retail. You never know. At this stage though it is way too early to tell, I mean the game just HIT stores today.

And i suppose they wan't to get more money out of this great game that already has gone gold. If they wouldn't make an expansion the Nomads wouldn't just dissapear as they did in the end and was told that they might come back.
So there will be an expansion and i'm longing of it

And i can't wait for all the mods that probably will come out...

Ok maybe a patch to add different types of missions with more veriety would do me just fine.Its the only thing that needs to be addressed in my humble opinion.

One thing that made me disapointed was that there was no ending movie, i love those like in all Blizzard games, they are just gorgeous i loved the intro but i would like an ending movie too, it felt like hmm okey now it's all over that was fast and then you're on your own it ended to fast!

It's entirely dependent on sales and projected sales. If MS thinks they can make $$$ off an expansion, then we'll probably see one. The storyline, IMO, doesn't really matter. For example: I guarantee there will be a Diablo III, even though all the "prime evils" are destroyed.

Yeah, you can't gurantee an expansion. It's ALL based on sales. I am still waiting for Wing Commander 6 and I don't think that will ever happen (at least not for a very long time). They left you hanging at the end of Prophecy. And, according to your rationale, they HAVE to make a WC 6. Please inform Origin about this...maybe they will listen to you! =)

more ships
more tech
more random missions
more systems (like 40)

DO NOT add more storyline until you have done this. observe "morrowind: tribunal" as to how this should be done
