Luck... lucky, lucky, lucky. I won't be able to get it untill after 1630 EST. Hopefully there'll be some copies left. I tried to do you what you did Xync, but my wife didn't even say, "We'll see.."

My wife would laugh. "Go get your own stupid game."

She thinks games are dumb. Oh well, at least I don't have to worry about sharing the computer with her for gaming time!

What is it with girls being prejudiced agains games anyway? My sisters and my mother all think they're just a stupid waste of time.

Post Wed Mar 05, 2003 5:52 pm

My parents hate my gaming habit. My sisters like playing games, but only ones like "Mario Party" and occasionally "Zelda." My girlfriend has the old school NES which we play every so often, but I always beat her at every game so she gets mad.

Girls just do other stuff besides games, so naturally they aren't too interested. They'd rather spend money on becoming pretty, etc.

*DISCLAIMER* This does not in any way mean that ALL girls are like that.

Woohoo! EB just called. My copy of Freelancer is awaiting my arrival at the store to pick it up!

I don't think anyone will be hearing from me here for a while....

My wife plays the shockwave games a lot and enjoys the "Sim" type of games. I've tried to get into some of my strategy war games. Same principle - control people, build and army, kill mass amounts of the other guy's people.

But, she's not interested in it. You're lucky if your wife/girlfriend enjoys games too. Even funnier if she kicks your rear playing them too.

Hi, I was wondering has anyone living near the EB Stores in Toronto - Niagara Falls area get their phone call in today for Freelancer? I hear that I wont be getting it tomorrow after work.

Hehe, it did come at a price.. I sent my wife to the mall.. (well asked her --ducks--)

That means she will just *have* to broswe the shoe depts and such.. it may cost me a pretty penny for my Freelancer run.. but It will be worth it!
