It does seem an odd decision considering the competition is out around the time FL comes out in Europe. I know they are different games, but really, is that gonna count to a lot of people ? You'd have thought they'd have got a foothold on the market first, then even if people went to X2 afterwards, at least they've bought your product first, and that's what it's all about at the end of the day (not meant to be inflammatory, just the way of the world).

oops sorry i keep thinking when people say europe the uk is included.
But anyway i was really looking forward to freelancer but if its relesed about the same time as X2 i will have to go for X2.

Can you image the complaints if a EU based software comany released a game 2 months earlier in Europe and rest of the world and US had to wait a month...

Yeah well .... Earth And Beyond wasn't even scheduled to be released in Europe until late in the public beta.
And still we got the game a couple of weeks later than the rest of the world...

Guess Europe is always the last place stuff gets released ...
Sad ...

But then again I have a full month to get Freelancer to run on my computer without crashing
