Ship light arms from Detroit Munitions to Battleship Missouri

And it's rogues, not rouges. Guess i can never watch "A.I." again without thinking about Freelancer when the heros get to Rouge City.

Cardamine from Buffalo to Manhatten. If your in a Rhino it's a $20,000+ profit run and then fly H-Fuel back to Buffalo, should be good for about $2-5k profit. The cardamine run is the honey pot, but you have to avoid the cops and the navy.
The best way to do it is drop out of the trade lane about 15 k before West point, fly around West Point and back into the manhatten trade lane. Drop out of the trade lane 15 k short of Manhatten, then fly to the eastern edge of manhatten and skim the edge of the atmosphere using cruise engines and quickly dock as soon as your 500m of the docking ring. You shouldn't get scanned at all that way, though you may be unlucky a few times.

Also you have to be at least neutral with the Rogues before you can land at thier base.

I don't really run this place but I have an understanding with the people who do.

Okay, this may sound stupid, but where is Detroit Munitions?

I found the Battleship to West point (or vice versa) shipping H-Fuel to be VERY profitable in a rhino, 336 to ~380-ish. Also it was mentioned before that the economy was fixed in the demo, I think it is by design. the real game looks to have fluctuating prices.

Cheers,
Lynx

CHECK.

What happens if a Navy Officer detects contraband in your cargo hold?

Post Mon Mar 03, 2003 9:27 pm

Well you can give it up, losing a ton of cash, or get ready to fight.... which can be bad depending on where your at.

Which by the way... if you're only neutral with the Rogues and one asks you to jettison your cargo as you're entering Buffalo base, (not approaching, but in that scripted landing sequence) and you dont dump it, the base goes hostile and the game will prolly drop you to the desktop....

Found that one out the hard way, I dunno if the same can happen at the other bases yet tho'

How exactly to you drop your cargo, when asked? This is a command I can't find in the options. I was asked once near Buffalo, but I didn't care to loose my cargo and I didn't know how, so I shot all the rogues and got out of there. But knowing how to do it might come in handy.

Etrigan there is no "command" for it. I got intercepted by pirates like over 20 times now and each time when they ask if you want to driop your cargo I get a message box where you can choose "drop your cargo" or "Don't drop"( or something like that).

There is no command, when they ask a message box should appear.

Although you do have a jettison command, its not really recommended unless your cargo hold is full and you find something valuable. For example i had a cargo hold full of oxygen, and then i found some superheated metal, which sells at norfolk shipyard for 600 credits (i think).

The Jettison command, for those who don't know (it took me a while to find it too) is the little recycle-bin button in the center of your inventory panel.
