Me too. But that's coz I have a bias against his voice actor. Drinking before flying a missile-laden Titan is NOT a good idea, they got that one right . I'm willing to look past Trent, however, and see the game for the greatest thing it is.

Trent...reminds me very much of the guy you played in Privateer. Leather jacket and all. But really....I do not look at Trent as being anybody but myself...so yeah...I like him!

I like Trent, I dont see anything wrong with him.. he's not annoying, he's not overly friendly

It's hard to establish his character in the demo alone. Guess I'll have to see what he does throughout the various story sequences in the full game.

he's alright, looks kinda stiff tho. notice he barely moves his arms when talking to people.

I don't mind him. Hell, he's a lot better than Cal Johnston from I War 2, I hated that guy.

I do wonder about some of the other male NPC's though. "Trent it's very very good to see you again." They say that just a bit to enthusiastically sometimes. Makes you wonder if they have some other job lined up for you, if you get my drift.

Yeah, hell yeah. Trent comes out way past Cal in I-War2. But they are both kind of cool though.

I think character choice would have been a very good idea for the game. By the time they release a patch for it, though, the game as already established Trent as an integral part of the story, so to add a character selection option in a patch doesn't strike me as an official decision. I've seen you folks' work on the mods and skins for Starlancer, so I've not a single doubt that you all will be able to find some way to do even better with Freelancer.

I know 2 girls who play that kind of game. They told me it was ok to play a male but still would prefer to remain a girl in the game...

The title should be "Who DOESN'T link Trent ?" and btw i do like him, what i don't like is talking to an NPC and then talking to 50 others with the same squeeky voice

Jafs beats both Trent and Cal, IMO
