When I talk to the bounty hunters they say I better leave because they want to kill me :-\. I guess they don't like me much. I think I'm gonna have them hack for me so I can get a better rep with them. (and probably with other factions too)

In my demo game I'm full-friendly with every faction but the Rogues, Xenos, Junkers, and Outcasts. I'm only neutral (slightly friendly) with Rheinland Millitary. I've bribed for four of them (don't remember which) and my total play time is 14:47. I've discovered all bases, three jump holes (bought two of them) and bought locations of two wrecks. I believe I've completely played out the demo (unless I feel like going criminal, which I may do next).

There are only 10 kinds of people in the world:
those who understand binary, and those who don't.

I destroyred a friendly at Manhattan... BAD idea.. I could not and still can not land on the planet and bases around it. It is strange becuase my reputaion is still very high (good) with everyone who is now shooting at me. Is this a bug??

Is there no way to fix this??? (other than load a save game).

The best way I've found to get friendly with the Bounty Hunters is to take the missions where you blow up someone's ship, then tractor in their escape pod. After a few of those, I started seeing missions for the Bounty Hunter's showing up on the job boards. I did a few of those, then my rep was high enough that some of them would offer me missions. Take a few of those and Voila! A good rep with the BH's! :-)

I read somewhere that if you buy a new ship they will stop shooting at you.... I don't know if there's anything to this because I've not shot at merchants (yet). The theory is that they ID the ship, not the pilot.
