Didn't take too long.

I've followed your instructions, now I'm not finding those ships at any of the ship dealers...where are they available?

***Warning Demo Spoiler***

The Liberty Defender can be found on the Battleship Missouri, which is next to the Norfolk shipyard.
The Pirate Bloodhound can be found at Rochester base (Junkers base) in the Jersey Debirs field, go to the main patrol junctions on your map.
The Borderworlds Dagger can be found at Buffalo base (Rouges base) in the Badlands, once again look for the patrol junctions.

If your mortal enemies with any of these groups your going to have to work long and hard getting them back in your favour, otherwise you won't be able to land at thier base. Still I've weighed them all up and i'd say the defender is better than the bloodhound and about on par with the dagger, I wouldn't kill yourself trying to get either ship.

You're forgetting the StarTracker, a slightly improved version of the StarFlier, which can be obtained on Manhattan.

Well I didn't kill myself to get the dagger...

just a load of navy defenders, police patriots, countless transports... and my rep with all factions concerned

It looks cool Gotta test her out yet

Hmmm....doesn't seem to work for me.

Lets see what I messed up:

Got the download to desktop ok, renamed to market_ship.ini and placed in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer Trial\DATA\EQUIPMENT

Now that should have REPLACED the market_ships file there yes?

instead I have two files now:

one appears as market_ships.in, but still with a jpeg image icon- the new one

the other original one appears as just market_ships with no .ini string and has a config settings icon.

Tried restarting game doesn't make a difference.

Any suggestions?

Kivuli, just delete the the one that still has the config setting & rename the one that looks like a picture file again it should look like a config file now.
