multiplayer combat
I have a few questions concerning multiplayer combat:
1) Looking over some of the ship specs, I noticed the following about batteries/nanobot storage :
sabre - 63
eagle - 63
titan - 71
That seems a little extensive to me and I was wondering how well combat works online. In a clash of the titans (forgive the lame pun) each ship could restore their hull or shields 71 times. When you have more armor and larger capacity shields do the nanobots and batteries only restore your ship slighty? If this were not true, if you decided to fight someone online there would be a lot of button mashing to restore shields and hull... Can anyone whose played against people in multiplayer comment on this?
2) I was looking at the Rheinland Banshee and it appears to have the best stats of any light fighter. Keeping with my tradition of piloting small and ugly craft I was wondering how this ship would fair against such juggernauts as the titan and sabre. I've been using w,a,s,d for turn and pitch w/ mouse aiming anywhere I please and found it to have some tactical advantages over the freeflight mouse. (imho, its easier to stay on a ship's ass with freeflight than it ever was with a joystick*, really good control scheme DA worked out... so I'm not dissing the control scheme) But... since I want to fly a light fighter in MP I've been using w,a,s,d for pitch and turning along with a free look mouse**. This allows me the ability to attack at an angle and dodge incoming shots at the same time but at the cost of not being able to follow 'quite' as tightly as freelook mouse. Oh yeah, my question is if there is any way for light fighter like the Banshee to compete with the 'big dog' ships of the border worlds. Some useful info would be the class of guns the banshee can have, shield class and how manueverable it is.

* I play (err, played until FL demo came out) CS religiously so hitting a little red X with the mouse proved natural (not to brag but I get mass HS in CS so the mouse aim is welcome)
** guilty of being a CS junky again. I love using WASD, it just feels good. I also think there is nothing like piloting any sort of light weight against heavy weights. Dodging and weaving through shots and around more sluggish craft is a greater rush than just eating shot after shot. Not to mention how impressive it is too watch a light get it done against a craft with 3 more hit points and more than twice the armor.
