The armor on that thing is thicker than ice in Antarctica, and if you have a good shiled generator you should last much longer. I guess it's personal preference, as the Saber looks cooler IMHO.

Titan has a stronger hull and holds more nanobots and shield batteries. Sabre flies a bit more like a fighter, and definitely looks cooler . Other than that, they're just about equal in the uber department.

i say sabre because the name sounds better and i liked its historical counter-part the sabre fighter.

Considering that the Sabre and the Titan can both carry the same powerful shields, I'd definitely say get the Sabre as it's far more maneuverable than the Titan and it can dish out more damage.

One thing the Sabre has going for it is that the turret fire arc is able to shoot along with your main guns. The Titans turret is attached to the "fin" on the back, thus not being able to fire forwards. It just comes down to more/less firepower, your preference.

the difference in turning time between the titan which is a very heavy fighter and most any other fighter you will be upgrading from is noticable, but for sectors where radiation is a big problem, the high armor is definatly a god send.

i am going for titan the sabre might look nice for some

but i really enjoy the titan as its just about untouchable i can fly near a sun get near the corona press H and watch my enemy bbq to lamb chops

cargo is great too...

and if your enemys is comprised only of the kusari and have class 10 molecular shields you can pretty much stand still press H and just aim and fire at any kusari or kusari allie hehehehe

dont know about the fireing arc ppl are talking about though

press H and fire at your 3 and 9 oclock and i get front and aft guns firing all at once ......

I would choose the Sabre over the Titan, because I prefer maneuverability over strenght (though they don't differ that much). Of course this is just my humble opinion

Why doesn't anyone use the eagle or what it's called that the corsairs use?

corsairs use titans

and I use eagle, its from the zoners, 20% less armor, same shild strengh, same weapons, and a most agile ship in the game. and it has aswell a lower profile than the titan, all speak for a eagle, only thing that speaks for a sabre are the about 20% more firepower (though sabre is still far better than titan)

and just a sidenot, 2k more armor gives you about 1/4 second more once you get hit. thats kinda unimpressiv.

that the titan stores more energy is aswell totaly unimportant, cause you anyway will not run out ever of weapon energy once you use some of the nice level 10 guns.

Could anyone tell me where I can find a system to buy one of these ships??? I have looked in the system-section here on LancerReactor...But I don`t know where to get to these systems...

There's a sticky in the spoiler forum of where to buy these ships and the factions you need to be friendly with. If you don't know where the systems are, then do some exploring. Follow the patrol paths, they usually lead to jump holes. You'll find them.
