I wonder if getting a new ship might help them forget you. Not sure if that dynamic is in the game, but it would be nice if it was.

That's a clever idea. I'll try it now.

Laughs! great story shinyhalo!

how can anyone say this is not a great game?

As far as them still attacking you later...they have a record of your ship's ID...so no matter when you show up...your going to be attacked! In the full version I am sure if you want to play that way...you will have to stick to certain places or expect a rough time!

Now it would be nice if Freelancer had a secret sumggler's compartment you could get like they did in Privateer? If not..a good ideal for the next patch.

Remember. Your ship has an ID. They can spot u. But if u changed ships u should be able to pass by. If so very nice indeed. But remember if u get negative reputation with the poilice....That could mean trouble. Even with a new ship

Yep. Your ship ID is being broadcasted to the police.

Cool never new you could get drugs

DiscoJason, you figured it out!

Of course they can match a ship's ID. But not if you have a different ship! HAHAHAHAHAHA

So I sold 18 x $1,500 caradine = $27,000 then traded my patriot for a new patriot and lost ~ $2,000 in that exchange. Still a huge profit!

MUAHAHA this game has so much potential.

@shinyhalo

So they stopped attacking you after you bought the new ship? Very cool.

Drug runners should avoid tradelanes regardless. There is an entire series of JH routes from Malta to Rochester Base in NY where the price is almost as high as Manhattan itself.

ya gotta dump the ship in the river after the crime...

When it absolutely, positively needs to be ~~*BOOM*~~`(static)

You guys are creamin' over a weak 27K profit?!

I've found 3 amazing trade routes that have made me an instant millionair!

Under 5 mins I make 109K per milk run!

...basically, from Point A to point B I make 109K in 13 Jumps THEN on my way back from point B to point A I make 98K

Pretty sweet if you ask me

I found out the HARD way that Artifacts are illeagle too. Those cops gave me a run for my money but it was worth the creds. I didn't even have to buy a new ship for some reason. I made out with 9k and the only bad thing is I have the demo. Time to shelf that player and off to more fun with another.
