About the FL music samples....

I am very impressed to say the least. The space music reminds me so much of Privateer. I love it. It looks like the music will be everthing I wished for and more. What you do you guys think?

I came. I saw. I conquered. And sometimes get conquered.

I didnt like the Bar music much, sometimes it reminds me of midi (to all you flamers.. now im not saying it IS, im saying it reminds me) which is a shame.

Does anyone know who composed it? I liked the StarLancer music and the Conquest: Frontier Wars music, wondering if anyone one who did that is working on Freelancers...

No specific names...you'll have to wait for the credits to see that, but there were a number of composers chosen to do the music for FL.

I actually agree with you on that point, although cheesy Maxis (Sim games) music came to mind more than midi. But the other music sounds fantastic! I can almost picture what the systems will look like. In game music has never been important to me and it usually gets switched off after the first half hour but FL's may last a bit longer.

I was impressed by the space music.
Really got a lonely, exploring feeling.
I could almost see myself stargazing in the border worlds.
The bar music was ok, dont think it is as important.

I know Andrew Sega did some of the music... as far as I know is he did 10 or so of the bar tracks. He goes by 'alpha conspiracy' and his music always has a very cool, unique electronic sound. Check out his website at www.alphaconspiracy.com ; he even has many of his tracks from 'cipher' available for download if you look at the news posts. Very worth checking out! My favorite track is 'winter'.

I hope to hear about who else has contributed to the music, it sounds great so far!

Andrew Sega? That's the name of the equipment dealer in Manhattan, easter egg!
