Disaster!

Picture this: It's so close I can taste it! I'm already wearing my FL T-shirt for the first session! My EB Games preorder should arrive in under 2 weeks, yip yip yippieeee!! But wait ... there was a big snow storm last weekend. Not to worry, the roads are already clear , but ... no ... it can't be ! My EB Games store building roof failed under the weight of the snow! The store is closed and not going to reopen any time soon. Duh Uh Oh No No NO NO !!! Someone please play a dirge for me. I guess I'll start with the European crowd ...

ps this is sadly true.

Es la vida. Sorry dude. It almost never snows here in Seattle. But it does rain alot.

I came. I saw. I conquered. And sometimes get conquered.

sad story, too bad i live in sunny california, not only that, in SAN DIEGO.

Damn! I just hope you guys in the snowy parts of the States won't get into trouble around the release date. Imagine... the game is released but they just can't get it to your games dealers. I wish you the best.

San Diego huh? I live here in LA, it's awesome here, I sure prefer it over my old home in Colorado any day!

Yes Boscoe I live in the 'States. Grew up in LA, worked a couple of decades near San Fransisco and then had to move to work at our headquarters in Washington DC. Seattle, San Diego, I long for either of them (and tell all the Seattle rain whiners to give it up, there are worse places!). LA ... well I can still smell the smog, taste it in my throat with each cough it causes when you try to breathe deep. Yes I can still feel the tight knot at the back of the neck. I liked the network of freeways, but don't miss the smog at all. Then again with all of the smog controls on cars maybe it's not as bad anymore.

As for the game, well I'm going down to the store this weekend to hope there's a sign on the door, something like "Moved to ...." or "contact us at ... to get refunds".
