From whats been said here, there are no development tools being released with the game. Anything you want done, youll have to do yourself.

There is no way to own more then one ship at a time, the largest ship you can fly is a freighter.

About "remote control" In MP when other players form on you, you will be guiding their ships while flying your ship. Was that your question?


I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the darkness at Tan Hauser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time like tears in rain. Time to die.

hmm...they've really limited things down.....guess they're trying to be as close to elite without exactly copying it

Well the only way that you can "technically" control another ship is if that ship gets into formation with you....

so this game will be very similar to earth and beyond but with a few characteristics from elite and privateer..etc...? right? cause you could get into formations in earth and beyond(big deal right?) but also there was a main leader who did the same thing as what you guys are talking about now

You can join formation with any ship in FL SP or MP (Can you fly formation with an enemy ship? not likely). Same as you could form on any ship in IWar2

ahhh yes that's right...I remember formating with a marauder ships....hmmm MP=multiplayer right? that's where I thought it might be used the most... =
