I think that will depend on who you order it from. I am not aware of any special offers from EB games ( the place I have it preordered from ). Juts getting the full game will make me happy.

Hi, I thinking the same way just getting the full version of Freelancer. But I getting the stratagy from EB what comes out n Feb 21/03 and I know that might be a spoiler for the game. ( I lock it up till I play the game for a week )

Could be a real spoiler for you Mike. Some players like those books...but I would rather just explore and find things myslef. A lot more fun for me that way . I know for me I read a couple things in the Privateer book and later wished I had'nt. This time I will not make that same mistake. But also..the same goes for the demo..I am just not certain I want to play it before the full version.

there is an in game map you can see screenshots of it, but i don't know if it comes with a map like the Morrowind map for example, maybe someone who knows can verify this to be true or false

I don't think a map would be possible, because there is an ingame map but you only start off with the house space explored (in MP, barely any at all in SP) and finding all of them is part of the exploring experience. Giving a paper map would sort of spoil it I think.

Hmm you're probably right Tach, it would spoil it. Heh maybe they'll chuck in a copy of Starlancer. It's not like there making huge profits from it at the moment.
