Yes, US games are usually out on tuesdays and the UK date is 3 days later on the friday.

If Australia is getting it 2/3 weeks before the UK, I dont know why. It does seem pointless to keep the UK waiting

If this IS all down to translation issues, which seems to be the only justification we've been offered so far, then can someone explain to me the major differences between American, British and Australian English that warrants us Brits having to wait over a bloody month after the US and a fortnight after the Aussies before we can get our hands on FL? I cannot believe the discrepancies between these three dialects of English are so vast as to justify this sort of delay.

If I was French or German I could understand the delay as there is obviously an enormous amount of dialogue/text to be translated. I know there is naff all we can do about this but like everybody else, I've waited 4 L-O-N-G years for FL and to be so close and still 2 months to the day away is agonizing, particularly when there is so little to justify it.

If nothing else, I s'pose that it means that US gamers will play-test it for us Europeans ...

Actually I wouldn't mention Warez at all anymore or you'll be on the fast track to being banned.

You probably won't get banned for mentioning warez (Zera is living proof) but frankly I would avoid warezing Freelancer even if you intend to buy it later, because you will probably become comfortable, put it off, etc and never get around to it. I know a lot of people say they buy it after it comes out, but I really find that hard to believe.

I can understand where you guys arecoming from. But I think in the end, the decision is not yours or mine. I would prefer a demo, but since that will be released just a few days prior to the full release, it defeats the purpose. You have to wonder how a game is released to the public before its official release? Sometimes its done by disgruntled employees.
