Liberty has 4 systems.
Kusari and Rheinland both have 5 systems.
Bretonia has 6.

Now how populated are those Breton systems? From the previews, a few of them are pretty sparse population wise due to pollution.

Bretonian space is sparsely populated compared to the other houses. Their sleeper ship arrived 40 years after either the Liberty one or all the other ones. Either way, it was a long while afterwards. The ship's engines were damaged so it "limped" to the Sirius Sector. Liberty has fewer systems but the planets in each are densely populated comapred to Bretonia, Kusari, and Rheinland.

Does population density effect the game then? If so...how?

I wouldnt think so. You probably on encounter a few thoushand people.

So Liberty has got the least number of systems.
Whats the average number of (populated) planets per system ?
And are there unpopualted planets at all, for example: they only have a space station orbiting ?

That's strange so they changed around the no. of systems since I remember ina preview Rheinland was the largest having around 7 with both Bretonia & Kusari having 6 & Liberty with 5.DA must have included more independent factions to conceive them as greater threat to the Houses than before whether allied or enemies,cool.

Basically Liberty are the most 'powerful' house as they have more equipment than the others, but take Rhineland for example. A Rhineland battleship would maul a Liberty one, but as Liberty have quite a lot more....(you get the picture)

The Borderworlds, although not tied directly to a house, are the most formidible systems by a wide margin IMHO. I'm telling you, life in the borderworlds is simply THE place to hang out if you want some serious action or you want to just want to explore. Sounds are superb, the systems themselves are just a work of art, and the NPC's you run into are just about all ace pilots.

I wished I could count how many times I was flying through one of those systems and just put it on cruise control, jumped into turret mode and just stargazed... Everyone is just going to love those systems, I'd be shocked if many people disagree. DA put their heart and soul into them, and it shows.
