Also you can get it shipped from Gamestop.com in 3-5 days, but it costs about 11 quid extra for shipping.
Kalniel
PS but order it today and you get 10 dollars off (most of the shipping cost) and a free t-shirt. Plus you get it way before it comes out in the UK...

Do you have any idea how frustrating this is? Us UK/Ireland folk logging into the forums to hear you all telling us how great it is, what you found and where to find it, ship configs, trade routes, great battles etc etc etc while we have to
wait those extra weeks?
I cant pre-order it because I have no CC. My local importer dosnt deal in PC software on import cos his dealer cant/wont get it.
If DA/MS listen to us (which they do from what ive read) then PLEASE GENTS....HELP US OUT HERE PLEASE...YOUR KILLING US WITH YOUR UK RELEASE DATES.
Lets all email DA and plead !
*looks at empty launch bay and weeps*

Did you see the comment from DA on why the EU version was delayed? Totally unsatifactory answer as they said the french and german versions have to be translated and with the huge amounts of dialogue it takes a while. Doesn't explain why the UK version is so late at all
Sorry, to stop this post from being a rant I can add that in reality, the game won't actually 'go off' - it's not any better for being a fresh product. In fact, getting the game after the first release is usually better as we'll have less time to wait for patches etc. But yes, I know it's very frustrating.
The question is, can you put a monetry cost on your frustration? If so, would you pay 11 quid to get it sooner? You can if you want.

[edit sorry, I forgot about CC-less waiters. Then I guess you've got to rely on ebay or something, as cheques will take the same length of time to clear as waiting! See if you can find some independant shops around - they might well be prepared to take an order for you and then order it themselves from an American site. There used to be a shop like that where I lived, and I got Strike Commander well before it came out properly.
