A more definative release date for Australians!

Hey Folks,

I've been regularly checking in at Games Warehouse on the release date of FL. It was originally late February (which I knew was wrong) but they have recently updated this date to the 10th of March. Take it with a grain of salt but I usually find that these guys aren't to far off with release dates. See here for details.

So if you didn't win the preview contest, which is all of us minus one, we shouldn't have to wait much longer after the United Statesians and Canadish get it.

Ya know... If MS are going to release worldwide on the same date... that means we'll both get it before them all

I'm fairly certain it will be staggered. North America first, then everywhere else maybe four to six weeks later?

You never know, we have been known to get games right on top of the US release, even if the release is staggered (which im 99.9% sure FL's will be). I honestly don't think Aus/NZ will be waiting much longer after the US, 2 weeks tops.

I second that, Mustang. Many games come into Australia about a week or two after America, so yeah, two weeks tops would be my guess too.

I try not to get too hung up on release dates, it's usually a big letdown.
Of course the first week of march I'll still be bouncing around like a kid on christmas eve.

A little birdy with good info has shown me a release dat off a schedule that has it as the 14th of march as shop date for Australia. Dont know about NZ though sorry.

I was expecting something like a June releaes =) I'm in the habbit of downplaying Freelancer releases! Any time in march is like... YEHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

The UK usually releases games three days after the US, the US on tuesday and the UK on friday if im correct. March 6th is a thursday though so thats messed up what I was going to say!

Anyway, does anyone have any idea why the UK has to wait an extra month and a half for Freelancer? Even though Australia only has to wait a few days more *apparently*?

Cant wait!!!

June!?!?! You were really downplaying it!!! I could swim to the US buy a copy and swim back and still make it before June.
I'd say sometime in March is pretty definate. and welcome to TLR robinhood from one adelaidian to another!
