Oh Dear!

You poor misguided fools. While you run round the systems trying to blast each other those who chose the real trade will have upgraded their ships to the max and you will be but leaves in the wind. The trade I mean is mining. The only trade where you can get something for nothing. And those of you who think to attack the miners think on this. To mine properly you need guns. Really big guns.

Trade like hell (days, weeks, months, don't care how long it takes), best possible ship, best possible shield/hull depleting loadout (like the two Kraven Mk 4's with two Mass Ion Cannons I had in Priv 2) and every possible offensive/defensive gizmo, within the ship's limits. An awful lot of experimentation to do to get that balance, but then that's half the fun.

After that, then it's bounty hunter/pirate killer for me.

The best paying jobs lol. I really honestly could care less what faction I work for, the one that pays the best money wins out. Trying to play as a faction is very difficult since all the missions for every single faction are pretty much the same. If they each had unique, interesting missions, it would make it much more worthwhile to "join" a certain faction and do work for them.
