I'm going to be an Explorer! I'll take trade goods, bounty contracts and even smuggle illegal goods if I can make a profit going where I want to go. But that is the important point, Going Where No Gater Has Gone Before!

navy for defense. but freelancing is really really appealing, think of it go where you want... and just create havoc when you want

My flatmate and I are hoping to play Freelancer lanned on the server at our house. We're thinking about going into the smuggling trade ala Smokey And The Bandit. That is, he's thinking about mebbe piloting a souped up fighter that'll hopefully be able to take care of any law enforcement/pirate/naval vessels we encounter, I'm hoping to take a freighter that'll actually haul our contrabrand cargo.

Balthazar, there are already 2 (or more clans): there's mine and there's bountyhunter's. Most people feel sceptic about clans in Freelancer but we will show them, right, bountyhunter?
