Forgive me for placing this here, but this seemed like the most acive spot in the forums. Does anyone have a FX 5200 running Freelancer? If so how? I have downloaded all of the patches and it still continues to shut off as soon as it gets to the starting "Freelancer" loading. If anyone can tell me if they have a 5200 please, you can email me or post it here.

Yep, I use a FX5200 and Freelancer runs perfectly fine for myself.

First of all do not install any Freelancer patches, they are unnecessary.
Freelancer works best as 1.0 version without any patches.
Delete all files that could belong to Freelancer (SP saves from other mods/patches etc.) and reinstall the game.

I recommend you to do following,
Install this Omega Drivers: http://www.omegadrivers.net (choose the NVidia one of course :> )
