Looking for a good MOD

I wasnt really sure where else to post this message so I shall do so here.

I've played through Freelancer several times, including multiplay, and although I love the game I think I need something more now! I've looked at some of the MODs advertised on the Lancers Reactor front page, but there's so much choice I don't know which to pick
Can anyone here point me in the direction of a good MOD? I'm looking for as many additions as possible; new ships, weapons and systems would be great, but what I'd really like is different missions. One description I looked at mentioned battleship killing missions! I just HAVE to have something to extend the life of this game!

Try Crossfire. Once you have completed the original missions on it, although the original missions are harder on crossfire, you move on to new CF missions

hey guys im lookin for a mod that will let me choose what ship i start with, how much money i start with, and where i start....any ideas?

I am releasing a mod on friday where you might be able to do that but not sure if it will work yet. What ship were you wanting to start with so i know to try and make it startable
