there is no "best" mod coz everyone likes something different

and you can't judge from the mods size
just take the freeworlds mod... 230mb but only because of oversized textures (which dont even look good)

in my eyes crossfire is still the best and with the upcoming new version it will be even better

true crossfire is good but its a open sp game and i find them boring

o and by biggest i ment has the most changes

Crossfire is normal singleplayer (story line) and you can install an openSP version if you want

It all depends on the type of mod you are looking for. We have total conversion mods here that change 'everything to include system names' such as our star wars mods. We also have mods that try to continue along the original freelancer line but just expand it such as Evolutions for example.

Its pretty hard to say which one is the best as that is a matter of personal opinion too.....lol

Over 100 new ships,
10 new systems
New Tradelane Speeds,
450 Cruise Speed
and a very good Server Police force.

could you post i link i can not find the mod. (also will that mod work in SP with out a open sp mod as i like to play the campaign, also my modem is poo so i can not play online )
