Decent Ships Mod?

Hi I've just started playing Freelancer again and I'm getting kind of annoyed with the arsey looks of the original ships, are there any mods out there with well done ships that just replace the graphics of the originals?

Or anything else anyone can suggest?

I've been scouring the downloads for ages but its bloody hard to find anything.

Are you flying INSIDE your ship? If you use cockpit view instead of "water skier view", you won't have to stare at your ship's tail pipe all of the time.
