Hey all. I have been thinking about coming back to playing Freelancer after about a year of not playing a single good space combat game since...

Problem is, I don't have the game any more. I am very very willing to buy another copy, but first I want to know if it will be worth it.

How many people on average still play online?

How many servers on average are there still?

There are some TC mods that make it more than woth it, like Freeworlds that is over 20 mb. It is very impressive, and lets you play something totally differnt.

Look for a copy on eBay. Going really cheap there now, plus some folks even include an assortment of mods with the game. Saves you the trouble of downloading them yourself.
