Mods

I have completed Freelancer previously and after finding this site, decided to play it again.
I only play single player mode and would be grateful if someone could give me some info as to which mods to try.
I have no experience with anything other than the original game so would be grateful for any info.

Try just downloading the Freelancer Mod Manager 1.3. It has some good example mods and is lots of fun. Try them all out, then you';ll know what types of mods your interested in.

As a new member to the FL community aswell, I have tried a couple of mods already.

I like the Tie mod with all the star wars ships in it. Im definetly gonna try Tekagi's Treasure Client V2.98c in open singleplayer if possible, and at the moment im playing my @ss off in the evolution 1.31 mod. Great fun since you can fly battleships etc. etc.

But next time im definetly going to use the charecter editor and start out with a bit more cash to get me off a good start

But theres tons of mods out there. People here is doing a really good job. You will also find alot of great servers to play on which supports clans etc.
