Final Entry

You ever notice that in Trent's last neural net log that Von Claussen was missing yet that he was there in the last cutscene?

I think it means that AFTER the battle he was killed........or so they think......

Yep, I noticed that too. You might not spot it the first time you play the story line through, but you should the next time around.

It's just another of the many little slip ups that appear from time. e.g. In a certain system, you will see Zoners in Eagles engaging in fierce battles with Outcasts in Sabres. Yet the Zoners are supposed to be neutral with everyone and those battles take place very close to the Freeport base where you can see Outcasts sitting in the bar! Huh???

Ever seen Kusaris with English names? Bretonians with Kusari faces? It can be fun spotting the bugs like that.

Also to add Junko is a japanese name but Zane isnt. and the ordinary(non cutscene) bretonians, kusaris and rheinlanders have american accents.

about the outcasts, they do ask for cargo, you will see it a LOT with the corsairs threatining Junkers by Yanagi in sig-13

Junko apparently is supposed to be Eurasian -- Liberty father and Kusari mother.

As to the accents, that is obviously cost cutting. Voice actors cost a lot of money! The accents don't bother me, but I wish they had at least taken the trouble to find out how to pronounce the names of planets and bases correctly. I cringe every time I hear Briesen (= Bree-sen) welcome you to Bry-sen or the fellow on New Berlin tell Trent to meet you know who on Hol-shteen instead of Hol-shtine. And then they way they butcher those Spanish names!

Oh, well. Still love the game with all of its minor blemishes. I wouldn't be posting on this board after two plus years if I didn't!

Funny thing is, the guy who voice-acts Fischer does say "Holstein" properly.

I wonder who they got to do the Bretonian voices, anyhow.
