zero cruise

Yesterday i saw someone charge his cruise and be in cruise while not moving, and today i did that somehow on accident though i didnt know how. does anyone know how to charge cruise while not moving forward?

Any sufficently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.

I have no idea how/why you'd do that.
I'm pretty sure it was just a random glitch.
Or it might be the result of a lag if you were playing online..

it sometimes happens that way, if while in cruise or charging cruise, if u hold down your reverse thrust
