mp stuff up need some help

hey first time posting great site.
I got a bumer with my mp, i cant create new caracters on it, i even tryed starting my own lan server but it says that a character with that name is already loged on to the server. unless 32 people loged on to the one server on a one computer lan in the 5 seconds it taks to load the server, its stuffed. I've tryed reinstalling it an I got it to work once but then it stoped again.

got any sugestions?

yes your server name in the title bar is not same as your version it's a glitch use IFSO or another server op prog to edit it to match

this sounds like an error ive gotten.have you edited the newcharacter.ini file?this can cause FL to glitch like that and the only remedy is to uninstall and reinstall clean.

Yeah I got it working again thanx, I've gotten heaps of errors since I started using mods but i didn't expect to be blocked from my own server.
I've fixed most stuff now but thanx again.
