well, that would probably be heading into reinland whilei was still at the bretonia part of the storyline. yup... i'm so gonna die...

In the story game, with the Bounty Hunters hostile, I decided to fly into Rheinland space. Now the Rheinlanders were still neutral, but unfortunately they were friendly with the BH'ers. I docked at the first Rheinland border station, did some trading and then took off. The BH'ers were waiting outside, and when they attacked me the whole of Rheinland went hostile! I had the Rheinland police, the Rheinland Navy, every Rheinland faction and even the base shooting at me. I didn't last long.

The first time I played Freelancer, I was exploring the universe, and I ended up in Ommicron Alpha... Of course I was hostile with the Nomads (so I couldn't run away to the secret system) and I had the whole Outcast fleet after me. I couldn't flee (Cruise Disruptors... grrr) and I still was flying the Order "Very Heavy Fighter" Anubis (which isn't heavy at all when fighting hordes of Sabres...) Yeh I got shot to hell.

Otherwise once I was really close to delivering a cargofull of Artifacts to Manhattan. I had planned my arrival (cruise right up to the docking ring and then press dock quickly) Unfortunately, another NPC was using the gate and of course a patrol of LSF ships went by and caught me... I got shot to hell once again (fighting in a Dromedary isn't easy...)

My worst thing was probably becoming allies with the red hessians, IN REINLAND!

(and as you can imagine getting to another colony was rather difficult with EVERY ship that saw you attacked you.

in the bretonia part of the story i don't think you have access to Rheinland.... at least not to the .inis..

anyway, stupidest thing i've done....

Trying to fly in between Sig17's suns. Not good.

coolbeano, i had to kill titans so close they came out of the sun, literally, i was inbetween them, almost as bad as the battle in the minefield during the campaign.

yeah, i wouldn't mind that, in fact that sounds fun. just need to attrac them out there. or mod it so the encounter is there.

but i was stupid in a sense that i was actually hoping i could cruise right between all three without dying.

Its quite possible just make sure you fly over top of them and not directly in between them...

I had to do a job where i had to kill some rogues, i had to fight against about 6 rogues in a defender and, me being a noob and all, i almost got killed.
All of a sudden i saw some ships and i thought like, 'they can help me, i'll go over there'.
Turns out; it were bounty hunters and they were after my alien artifact, so i was immedeatly facing 9 enemies and i died in about 10/15 seconds

aah damn this is stupid
i was doing a job for the order against some nomad groups ( in a mod )
sow then after killing 20 nomads or something...
3 nomad battleships arrived sow i easely went back to battlehip osiris with 80 speed :p...
and the battlehips followed me to the osiris.... and suddenly everybody started shooting me...
even the order :S... and LSF ( also from a mod )
sow i started shooting back.... butt still...
after 5 min of dogfight.. i died ...

Flying into omicron beta w/ the Outcasts hostile, in the main story (kusari), w/ a Barracuda, or maybe it was flting into the gamma unknown system with that smae barracuda. In both cases I was forced to reload a saved game.

ya, in the bret part you just go through the omega systems. not too hard. i was just about o g to hamburg when jini's like "go whup hovis at a race"

when in the battle where you defend the prison ship I hit engine cut end turned around. while I was turned around I didn't now that i was headed for a big grey ball

yes i crashed into the moon

Yep, that's what I did. I made it to the first station in Hamburg and got blasted when I took off and 2 Bounty Hunters turned everyone else hostile.
