Thanks PB! Fact is that we were all in on in, including, believe it or not, Digital Anvil. (they sent me those pictures). I was the primary instigator of the prank, so I take both credit an blame for it. I would never have done this without the ok from eraser and bp, and I also wanted to make sure Digital Anvil wouldn't be upset by it. If they didn't give me the green light, I never would have gone with it. Yes, I did receive some emails requesting an untimely death, most of the emails I got were to wish me weil. The membership of TLR are good people. Most liked the joke, and the ones who didn't, I have sincere apologies to them. They're good people, and I'm glad they've forgiven me for any harm I did to them. TLR is a tight community, and I was glad to apologize to those I may have hurt by doing the joke.

For an april fools joke, i can honestly say its the best one i have seen, it was convincing, illusive, and perfectly timed.
What really got me was that all the other staff were mad that you gave out info about FL2 in order to make this believable.

Thanks Arania. That was completely the intention. The idea was to have "go crazy" and let out the "secret" and have the other mods trash me big time. My regret is that it did offend many, and as you know by now I apologize for that. I'm glad you enjoyed the prank though.

As I've stated earlier (before) I don't understand how you expected anyone to take you seriously. I also don't see why anyone did take this seriously. I mean, honetsly, the thread WAS titled APRIL FOOLS DAY!!!!!!!!!! I wish you had kept the pictures though, I would have liked to use them on my desktop.
P.S. The final picture looke dlike it was cut and pasted together, and 2nd one looke dlike it eas out of a submarine or jetski game.

As I've said, DA sent me some artwork to use for the prank. I have no idea when they're from, or from what game. In all honesty, the final picture looks a bit like the mission in Starlancer when the Tigers attack the Czar. They meant nothing other than giving me a bit of artwork to help with the prank. For all I know, these pics are 10 years old, or they were made just for the prank, I simply don't know, and neither does any other member of the staff here.

And to think I missed it all being on vacation like I still am. BTW, the Bahamas was great and so far the visit to NYC is going very well.

Some day I hope someone will give me the details of this event. It appears it was a real doozie.
