lol first time I played it I had to sell missiles sometimes to buy bats and bots never had enough monye...but it was fun, second time at least it went better...but both times after the storyline I managed to get all the shipping companies, to put it that way, angry at me...wonderful times

As for privateer...I love those asteroid fields, but yes it is a bit more difficult than FL, esp if the enemies doesnt want to die

I beat it twice without cheating it. Once I beat it with only dying once. There are ways to make the game harder, but that constitutes a spoiler.

Don't blame someone because of how badly they mess up, praise them by how they fix it.

I did it 3 times.

the first time I died three times, the second I died once, the last I survived the whole plot..

I beat it before I even knew that there were mods and cheats for the game. Sure, some parts were harder than others, but it's very do-able.

I hate cheating. My friends and me played this game now several times, and with 3 people its not a problem getting the biggest ship and the biggest guns. Its to easy in multiplayermode.

Thats why we use the TNG Mod, making everything a littlebit harder. The WTS Mod just crashed too often.

I just chanced some things. Reputation with Rogues and some other folks is now unfriendly from beginning. And all the planets are turning around and around and around (oh what a nice hypnose). And shooting a guy makes you emediatly unfriendly with the faction. Now you can't rob 10 cargos befor they recongnize you as enemy.

Thats all i changed, but i thing this is no cheating.

The only time your should be able to cheat is when you have at least completed the game once. The game isn't very hard anyway!
