There should be a small icon in the corner of the image of the weapon that looks like 2 puzzle pieces, click on it to unmount or if the weapon is unmounted mount the selected weapon, oh and let me be the first to say welcome to TLR as you will never be able to leave

Thanks lots.. I just started FL and like it so far... I beat the game in about 6 hours so I have started coming here seeing about making the game go on longer lol... May be MP some day but I am still to green.

yip same as me i want to go online to mp but the computer i use is a laptop which the internet hasn't been conected yet but get it in a week

Mounting/unmounting equipment is possible only while being docked.

Yah I just got that... It is cool to just switch weapons around. [edit I am just in a pickle now... I am on the monkey planet lol and there are fighters outside of it but I have no bots left or bats lol go figure...

Well, neither on the monkey planet nor on the robot world there is an equipment dealer - no bots, no bats.

Suggestion: If you can't deal with the nomads, set course for the jumphole, take off and go for the jumphole as fast as you can.

The preferred method for escaping bad guys when you're unsure whether or not you can make cruise without getting popped (or if the enemy has cruise disrupters): thruster, engine kill, and flip your ship around to face your pursuers. They won't stop pursuing, but they WILL stop using their own thrusters to catch up. Once they drop off the scope, activate your cruise engines and zip away.

be careful in astoid fields escapeing enamys while bouncing around like a ping pong ball hard

You can't equip any form of equipment with out being docked on a planet/station/base/thing, but If you mean while docked, press F7 or click on the Inventory HUD icon in the top right corner of your display, after you do that, find the weapon you want to replace, unequip it (click ont he equip/unquip square), go to the weapon you want to put in its place and click on the equip/unequip square. Presto! You have just changed out your weapon but remember you have to be docked to do this.
