Does your ship loadout affect maneuverability

Does your ship loadout affect maneuverability..

Seems when I put bigger guns or mines and disrupters on my ship it doesn't maneuver vary well. it was vary maneuverable before I totally loaded out my ship...
Does the Atmosphere in different systems affect the maneuverability of your ship or something?

Ugh.. I strongly doubt ship loadout has any effect on maneuverability. Can you give any specifics?

It's true that weapons have their own mass values, but I don't know if they modify your agility or steering. In any case, the values are identical for all weapons...
