p.s. Even now, I still find an odd bit of information I did know. Talk to everybody you can on stations. If they have a little cartoon balloon over their head, it means they have something to say.

Yes there is. It's a series of documents released to IGN by Digital Anvil.It's got stuff on the history of the places and present day. It's split up into several differant bits, and because it was released early, Universal Shipping is called Valhalla or something so there's about three companies with odd names bu you should be able to work them out.
