Anybody with Advanced Unofficial Freelancer Patch 1.4

I'm playing Story Mode in Singleplayer and for some reason, commodities in mineable areas (Pittsburgh Debris Field) don't show up! I don't even know if the patch works even those in FLMM it says it's activated! It's the only one activated too...

Speaking of which, what will happen if I attack Friendly targets? Will I be Mission Failed even though I'm not currently on a Storyline Mission?

What commodities? All you should be able to mine there is scrap metal. I recall that it tended to be slim pickings even in that respect. Some areas are just not good for mining. Others will be rich, with everything you shoot seeming to provide something useful. You just have to find those areas by trial and eror.

As to attacking friendlies on a mission, I don't know what would happen if it is one Juni assigned you. I imagine you would automatically fail the mission. However, in a dog fight I have accidentally taken out a few good guys by mistake when they flew into my gunfire. The game didn't seem to hold that against me.

I was told that in the 1.4 patch, when you click the Information on a mineable area, you would see a list of commodities that are able to be mined from there. Although the patch shows the "dark area' of the mining field, so I don't know if the patch works or not...
