"LAN-Server"

Hello,

I whant to open a Server with the normal Freelancer Server, because my friends and I whant to play Freelancer by LAN. Our Normal Freelancer is Version 2.6! But my Server is version 1.0!! So we cant connect.
What can i do or where can i download a server update for 2.6??
plz help me

2.6 means that there is a mod installed on your client version of Freelancer. I'm betting Rebalance, but I'm not sure.
Either make sure you have the same mod installed on your server, or uninstall the mod from the clients.

It could be that the server side mod for whatever mod you all have installed is different, check with the mod developper to be sure.

Btw, the only official patch on teh official freelancer homepage is V1.1. All computers, both client and server need to have this installed. Though I wouldn't advise it because it actually introduces new bugs to the game. Go figure. Some of the bigger mods actually solve a lot of bugs. Also, the SDK files fix a lot of bugs without modding the game. Whatever you install, make sure that both teh client and the server have the same files installed, or you will get heavy lag and possibly crashes.

But we just uninstalled Freelancer and installed it again! Now it is version 1.0.
