What''s This??

During the translating of FL I've found an interesting part:

"Kruger chose to focus solely on the extraction of Diamonds from the shifting clouds and rogue asteroids that populate Dresden."

What is 'Shifting Clouds' means??

They're just lumps of gas...they get disturbed by solar wind and stuff flying through them. If you open a box of gas, it doesn't stay in the same place.

He said during the translation - I would not be suprised if he is trying to figure out exactly what it means so he can accurately translate the text over..........

Just a thought for those who may try poking fun. I learnt French when young, but could never hope to translate anything - as even this post is way beyond my years of French lessons!

For background, Kruger currently has a artificial h-fuel extraction/maker in Frankfurt. They also have mining stations in the Omega-7 system and Dresden. Hq is Essen Station, NB.
