I think the general consensus is that everyone wants another war with those pesky long necked geese the coalition.

So, FL2 probably won't be FL2 unless you can opt to stay out of the whole damn war. Why even have a story line? or better yet, you can choose it. For example, say yah, lets go kill coalition why not? and join up w/ liberty navy - then you fight the war there and your actions determine future events. As would leaving liberty and saying... know what wars hell, lets leave.

Thats what this genre needs. ABSOLUTE FREEDOM - and a complete dynamic universe where your actions influence the game - and that means staying or not staying the course of any kind of career.

1. They started building Manhattan 800 AS.
2. I believe it took a while for all the stuff in Sirius to be made, built and discovered.

anyway, the system of years in Sirius starts after The liberty sleeper ship landed on Manhattan, 'Settled in 0 AS' it says on the infocard, or maybe 1 AS, ah i don't know. Suffice to say 800AS means 800 years after landing.
