I found this little thing browsing through my bros screenshots. Take on EU server we found it a bit....odd

We concluded that (with credit to Wassup1444695sp?)

1. Faction Tags are temporary. Till the next time you dock or die.
2. You must be hostile to a certain factions enemy.
3. Happens Randomly

For instance. Our theory with this is that.

Fact : He had just killed a freighter when 181st was comign out. Thus total hostilities.
Theory : Came on scanner just after full hostilitys. Nomads hostile to everyone.

Still rather odd. Anyone else seen an odd tag....

maybe he is now able to buy a nomad ship........

nice picture, and realy strange tag...
i saw bounty hunters, navy, LBW, outcast and some other normal factions... but never nomads, orders and other special tags...

I wonder about that myself. I used to think it was something you could do in IonCross for specific players, but there really isn't such an option. At least not the last time I played around with it.

24/7 Eagle Utopia is a mod free server. Except for one optional mod (which just adds a few systems. (Sorry if thats advertising, just making a point)
No, I dont think so guy-who-posted-above-me I just stumbled upon it and thought the name was cool. But the names appear at random. My bro has said I was a Corsair once. So yay. But they disappear if you die or dock. like this one convo in game

-undocks "thanks for that
--hey ur not a molly anymore...

Got this rom another forum just now:

everyone starts out as liberty navy... you just got to make all the allies of the people you want to be with really green, then all their enemies really red, then find one last bribe and that should put you over the top and get the tag... but ive been working on the bounty hunters along time


True or not? I don't know.

Well, I tried making myself good with the Xenos and hostile with the Zoners. I then bribed the Zoners back to green. It didn't work. I guess I need to be hostile with more factions.
