Annoying House Police

Isnt it a bit annoying house police and navy to scan your cargo in borderworlds?
So what if i carry cardamine or artifacts? borderwards is outside house territory and anyone shooting you to steal your cargo should be considered a criminal.

Also those chicks telling you "you are not holding what am looking for" is totaly unfair since you can not tractor them to curacao .

When they say "You're not hauling what I'm lookng for", I always wish I could reply by asking them to tell me what they want so I could haul it for them. ;-)

p.s. What ticks me off is when after joining into a dogfight and destroying virtually all of the bad guys for the cops, they don't even say thank you. Instead, they immediately check to see what you are hauling.

Yep, it's totally annoying, you just took out 15 corsair fighters, and all you get is "Freelancer Alpha 1-1, standby, I'm scanning your cargo bay for contraband". Stupid *****.

Agreed, as annoying as ( insert any rude word)

What i find annoying about house police is that thy are hard to shoot, esp those Annoying pieces od s**t Drakes of the state police fomr Kusari

I love my 8000 cruise speed. The generally get as far as "I'm scanning" before I'm 10K away.

Nah, I know better than to use it in asteroid fields. I have a 600 speed thruster for that.

I often get two or three police patrolls scanning me one after the other. Fools, if the first lot dind't find anything, why does the second lot bother.

On another occassion, i actually did jetison my supply of artifacts, (i didn't want to damage my rep with the Rheinland police types), the weedy macho messages of 'smart' and 'just as i suspected' put me on the edge of an hysterical laugh

if your found with it, just target the nearest trade lane/station/docking ring and dock with it!

but yes i must agree... the Border Worlds are not their territory, but they still insist in doing it... what's funny is when the bounty hunter's do it in Omega-41... hee hee... cya later alligator...

what i find even more enoying is: sure i'm carrying contraband or i just shot at a ship, but do you really have to KILL me? can't you just arrest me or shoot my engines out...at least giv me a choice...

I've wondered how the police manage to identify you and scan your cargo BEFORE you have even left a station. The port opens and you are immediately scanned. Maybe they just hang around outside looking for something to do?

I really don't understand why the same cops who scan me multiple times fly into planets right after. I just had to say that, it puzzled me. Also, I've noticed that they also scan Bounty Hunters and Junkers... Although, even when junkers have some cardamine or artifacts, they're let go. Someone should modify that ... =D

it might just be me but i think that junkers should be allowed to have contaband since they are JUNKERS! addicted is their middle name...btw i also like the idea of paying off the cops...
